Final score
That was a practice round — today's daily is the same five songs everyone plays today.
What is Guess The Song?
Guess The Song is a free, five-songs-a-day music game for your browser. No app to install and no account to make: you hear a short clip of a song and type its title. Name the artist too and you score a bonus. Press play and start guessing — the same five songs everyone else is playing today.
How it works
Each day you get the same five songs as every other player. You hear a short clip and type the song title; get the artist as well for extra points. No account, no download, nothing to install — just press play.
Can I hear more of the song?
Yes. Every round starts with a short clip, and one extra listen is always available. The title is worth less once you use it, so the guess you make first is the one that counts most.
What happens if I can't name the tune?
You can skip any round — a missed title is never a dead end. When a round ends, the answer comes up straight away and the real music video plays. Wrong answers are the part people screenshot, so the reveal is built to be worth losing to.
Is there more than one song a day?
Yes. When you finish the daily five you can keep going — a fresh set of songs plays on without restarting your score. You can also jump into a practice pool any time: pick a decade (80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s), a genre like Pop, Rock or Electronic, or shuffle the whole catalogue.
Do I keep a streak?
Yes. Finish the daily and your streak grows, on this device. Your best streak is shown with your score, and your daily result shares as a compact grid — same style as your favourite word game.
When does the new daily start?
At midnight UTC a fresh five drops, so the daily is the same for everyone wherever they are. Come back tomorrow for the next set.
Can I play an older daily?
Yes. Every past daily stays playable — the same five songs everyone played that day. Browse the archive of past dailies and replay any of them, any time. For the full rules and scoring, see how to play and what a name-that-tune daily is.
